The Cincinnati Insurance Company offers our local, independent agents market access to excess and surplus lines products through its nonadmitted and wholly owned subsidiary, The Cincinnati Specialty Underwriters Insurance Company (“CSU”). CSU carries an AM Best rating of A+ (Superior) and won the Stakeholder Team Accomplishment Recognition? award from financial analysis firm Demotech Inc. in 2014 and 2015. A Delaware domiciled carrier, CSU operates in the same footprint as Cincinnati Insurance, covering 39 active states and is an approved nonadmitted carrier in all 50 states and Washington, D.C.
Cincinnati agents access CSU through our in-house E&S brokerage – CSU Producer Resources Inc. (“C-SUPR”). C-SUPR is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cincinnati Financial Corporation.
